Here are 7 principles to remember:
1. Pray in faith believing that it is not God's will that any should perish.
2 Pet 3:9 "The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance"
2. Pray believing that with God all things are possible.
Mark 10:27 "But Jesus looked at them and said, "With men it is impossible but not with God, for with God all things are possible"
3. Pray asking God to awaken them.
Matt 13:13 "Therefore I speak to them in parable, because seeing they do not see, and hearing they do not hear, nor do they understand"
4. Pray claiming the soul for Jesus.
2 Tim 2:26 "and that they may come to their senses and escape the snare of the devil, having been taken captive by him to do his will"
5. Pray by tearing down strongholds.
2 Cor 10:4 "For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but might in God for pulling down strongholds"
6. Pray persevering
Luke 18:1 "Then he spoke to them, that men always ought to pray and not lose heart"
7. Pray for open doors.
Col 4:3 "meanwhile praying for us, that God would open to us a door for the word, to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I am also in chains"
