Angelina's healing

My sister was here last week with her daughter from England. Having settled down quite comfortably there and holding a good job as a speech therapist with a hospital in Darlington, her trips to Penang and KL were a yearly affair.

We were happy to hear that she was going to stay with us for 5 days in KL. There were a number of places she wanted to visit like the Science Center and the Elephant Sanctuary. We had the schedule all planned out.

The children were eager to see their English cousin, the precocious 10-year-old Angelina. Half English and half chinese, she charmed everyone she met with her grey eyes and fair skin. Not only was she the apple of my sister's eyes but also a joy and a delight to us as well.

Imagine our dissapointment when my sis told me that they might not be able to make it due to an ear infection. The ENT at Assunta recommended a course of antibiotics. If that failed, she would have to undergo an operation to drain out the fluid from her left ear.
When I heard the news, I immediately told my sister that I would pray for her healing.

The following morning while reading the Bible with Tim, I lifted her up to Jesus and prayed "Lord please heal Angelina of her ear infection. Render the operation unnecessary as we would like to see her in KL"

Praise God...a few days later my sis called to update on her condition. An operation was not needed as she was responding well to the medication!

We were able to take them to several places while they were in town and during our last trip to the Elephant Sanctuary, my sister commented that her hearing in the left ear is now completely normal! In fact, she even went down to the river to watch the baby elephants take their shower and had the honor of sitting on one of them when it was time to come out of the water! Was she thrilled to bits!

Thank you Jesus for your healing touch!
