Too kind hearted and soft spoken

Recently a head hunter contacted me and asked me if I was keen to pursue another job. Although I was in two minds about it, she persuaded me to go for the interview as they were prepared to consider the pay that I wanted and the condition that I will not work on contract (HR people will tell you that when you touched 50 most organizations will put you on contract rather than permanent employment).

After the initial hesitation, I agreed to go. Although the first interview went well, the second set of people who saw me felt that I was not suitable because I was too soft spoken and kind hearted!

When I told my life group members about this they had a good laugh!

Are not these good qualities for an employee to have? I would have thought that these are good qualities for a gentle and quiet spirit is precious in the sight of the Lord.....

Just goes to show that the values of the Bible and the values of the world are like chalk and cheese!

Ps - By the way, I also told them that I relaxed by worshipping the Lord, praying and going to church!
